— Bit obsessed with the architecture model instagram account. I could look at tiny architectural models all the live long day. Weirdly calming. Selecting a picture to accompany the link took me forever, but after a lot of scrolling I eventually went for this model of Monte dos Judeus in Porto, designed by OODA. It just looks … tasty.

— “A lot of passionate, talented people have worked far harder than a rational mind could possibly conceive of in this remote, unlit corner of the entertainment industry … We poured a lot of care and emotion into something that was invisible to most and a nuisance to others.” Why is a whole new generation obsessed with DVD menus?

— I’m aiming to log all of my film-watchery on Letterboxd this year. Follow if you enjoy profound cinematic insights like “Men would rather recursively birth themselves into a holiday rental than go to therapy” and “SANDRA DICKINSON”.

— Small, portable and filled with books, Ikea's Råskog trolley has become Gen Z’s most coveted (and tiktokable) bookshelf. Worth reading if only for the phrase “interplanetary gurgle”.

— Very almost in time for my birthday, the big fat hardcover omnibus edition of The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl is finally upon us. I absolutely fell in love with Ryan North and Erica Henderson’s comic last year, and would gladly clear a sizeable chunk of shelf space for it. THIS IS A HINT.
